April mission moving forward

Recent donations include a retiring firefighters donation of wildland truck skids ,a flat bed for a pick up, and portable pumps along with wildland hose and fittings. Some of the most needed items this year after last years activities down in the southern ca/Baja area. With the Skid load we are seeking a donation of a Truck chassis that we can mount the flat bed and skid on to, and bring one of our departments a functioning wildland rig.

One of our Corporate donors Lumbermans LLC. in Gig Harbor has donated a large amount of lumber to help us produce our extrication cribbing and to help improve our storage capabilities. All told alot of activity as we head toward our April Mission.

We are still looking for help with ladder truck operations training in Culiacan, Basic fire training in Ayutla, and equipment and apparatus all around. Stay tuned as we head to our next trip beginning April 19th.
