Support for Northen Cambodia

Joels-article-760x300This month Firefighters Crossing Borders.org continuing with its philosophy of assisting other organizations doing similar work, donated a large amount of medical supplies it has received, to an organization "Go Team from Chapel Hill Church" a participating supporter of the non-profit group called Cambodian Hope Organization.org. , Providing Medical care, training and support in the area of Northern Cambodia, Several of our members have worked with other organizations working with the Cambodian Government in re organizing their Fire and emergency services within the country and this recent donation continues the effort.

Providing care by bringing Doctors, Nurses and other medical volunteers, they base in the city of Poipet and provide medical care and because of our donation will be able to train first aid and leave 10 Aid kits with communities around the area. In addition, we have been able to provide Physio-Controls Life Pak 10 cardiac monitor along with a Nebulizer enabling them to deliver nebulized breathing treatments while there and turning the equipment over to the local hospital for continued use. The donated monitor was serviced by Physio-Controls, now Medtronics with our thanks. Continued use in areas that can use them is our primary goal for equipment donated.
