California Wildfires

We have  been in contact with our friends in Tecate, Baja and they inform us that they were requested to assist with the fire on the US side near Potrero, Ca. They sent three units with the Fire chief Marcos Garambullo, and 9 other firefighters. The Apparatus included one of the Engines that were delivered in 2006 and was donated by Turlock, Ca. The Engine is back and helping on the front lines.

 

An additional note; The task force sent down to California by Pierce County Wa which includes an apparatus and several firefighters from my own home department at Gig Harbor Fire and Medic one has been assigned to the same location. They are working hand in hand with the firefighters that we have been visiting for the past 8 years. Hows that for a small world. WE hope to get further updates as they get these fires under control.
