Catching a ride with Comox Rotary

bus2A school bus load of fire, rescue, and medical equipment is enroute to Nogales US this month. Nine members of a Rotary Club of Comox, B.C. generously offered to assist Marina Puerto Vallarta Rotary Club and FFCB with bringing the equipment down to a warehouse in Nogales on the Mexican border. Later when the permits are ready this equipment will find its way down to support the firefighters of Puerto Vallarta.

The Comox Rotary members are on a mission to deliver a donated school bus, ambulance, access van, and SUV to a little town south of Puerto Vallarta they rendezvoused with FFCB Regional Representative Jordan Pollack along Highway 101 outside of Port Townsend WA to pick up a van load of equipment. They then traveled on to meet up with Executive Director Joel Shwartz in Port Orchard WA for more.
