New Fire Station for Punta Mita!

After two years of effort, the Punta Mita fire station begins construction. The fire station is part of a Unified Community Fire EMS Project focused on improving emergency services for the community of Punta Mita within the municipality Bahia de Banderas. The fire station is expected to open late August 2014.

FFCB, Punta Mita Home Owners Association (HOA) and Protection Civil are working together on this project.....Punta Mita HOA provided the land and construction costs as well as donation of a fire engine for the fire station; Protection Civil will staff and maintain firefighters and paramedics at the station; FFCB's representatives assisted in station design, acquisition of a good used fire engine, acquisition and donation of a good used ambulance for the station along with a lot equipment and training for the firefighters.
