Engine and Equipment for Belize

This summer, FFCB instructor Edgar Ramirez Tellez (Fond Du Loc Fire Department, WI) made an excursion to the country of Belize with fellow law enforcement officers.  Through relationships developed on the mission, he secured a working relationship with the Belize National Fire Service. 

In October he facilitated delivery of a Pierce fire engine in excellent condition donated from Lacey Fire District (WA) and a U-Haul truck full of firefighting personal protective equipment.  This is the first of future shipments and training missions which will support all 15 fire stations throughout the country.  Congratulations go out to Edgar for his ambition and diligence creating this incredible working relationship with the country of Belize.
