Two Engines for Nayarit

On August 20, 2021, Protection Civil Nayarit was successful in importing two donated fire engines and a lot of good used equipment. 

Nate Girard a Captain with the Berkeley Fire Department, CA and a FFCBs member facilitated the donation of the two 2001 Pierce Quantum engines.

Much of the equipment that went down with the engines was donated by nearby San Ramon Fire Department and collected by their Captain Erik Falkenstrom, another FFCBs member.

Three members of Protection Civil flew to Berkeley and drove the engines over to Tucson AZ where they were staged by Tucson Fire while importation permits were obtained.

The engines and equipment are now in service protecting the people of the State of Nayarit.
